Care Opinion is the largest independent non-profit feedback tool for patients and the public. It's all about making sure that you can have open and meaningful conversations about your experiences of health and care.
You can tell Care Opinion your story of using a health service. Your story is then fed back to staff and organisations such as CCGs so we can help make health services better. You can also give feedback as a friend or a carer of somebody who has received care in the last three years.
Information that is fed into Care Opinion about services in Bradford District and Craven is fed into our grassroots reporting. This informs the decisions we make about local services and how they are planned to make them sustainable and focused around the needs of our local population.
For more information and to give your views, visit the Care Opinion website.
You can share your experience of the care you received by sending us a message on our contact us page.
Whether your experience was good, you just want to make an observation or you have had issues with the service you had, let us know. It helps us improve service in the future.
People share stories and feedback about health and care services in many different ways, such as:
Our grass roots system brings together all this insight to help us build a better picture of what’s working well and where improvements need to be made.
Grass roots reports are discussed by our Joint Quality Committee to identify actions that need to be taken, and grass roots insight regularly informs our commissioning decisions.
For example a pattern of feedback relating to the experiences of Deaf patients has resulted in us working with Bradford Talking Media to develop awareness training for primary care staff.
Our CCGs are open to new ideas for how we use social media. If there is a specific topic or idea that you think we should be making more of, or that you want to lead on, please send us a direct message and we will see what we can do.
You can use social media to share your experiences and help spread the word about health and wellbeing campaigns in our area.
We are also always looking for people who would be willing to get involved with creating a blog or perhaps recording a video about thier experiences of health and wellbing on social media. If this sounds like something that you would be interested in getting involved in, please send an email to email@example.com
