From 1 April 2020, we will exist as a new CCG - NHS Bradford District and Craven CCG. That means that we will also be going live with a new website. To help us develop the website, we asked local people to get involved to help us create a new design and map content that would work for the needs of our stakeholders.

In September 2019, we held a number of engagement sessions with patients, our staff and a patient group with accessibility needs. The aim was to capture:

Following the user engagement sessions, we gathered all the feedback which showed:

The sessions were facilitated by an external agency who used the feedback to inform the design and sitemap for the new website.

In December 2019, a first draft of the design for the new Bradford District and Craven CCG website was shared with the groups who were involved in the initial engagement session to make sure that we had correctly interpreted their comments and feedback. The feedback we received from this was overwhelmingly positive and people agreed that we had taken their comments and translated them into a design style that would work for them.

We will be continuing to involve the people who were involved in this engagement in the work we do on our new website. The next phase will involve user testing, beyond this we plan to do 'checkpoints' to make sure that our content and websites continue to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
