Call for carers to share their experiences as part of joint NHS and council initiative
Carers across Bradford District and Craven are being asked to share their experiences and thoughts on what is most important to them, to inform how future services are developed.
The joint project between NHS Bradford District and Craven CCGs and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council hopes to gather carers’ feedback in order to better understand their experiences so that the right support can be put in place.
A carer is anyone who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help and cannot cope without their support. The person they care for may need help because of illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction.
People can take part in a number of ways including completing a Carers’ Survey which is available both online by visiting the CCGs’ website - www.bradfordcityccg.nhs.uk - and as a paper copy which can be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01274 237370.
