Our CCG sets our priorities based on the health and care needs of our population. We strive to shape a high quality and effective system which provides services to the population of Bradford.

We serve a population of approximately 339,500 people. The key health and wellbeing challenges for our population are chronic conditions (such as COPD), cancer and the outcomes that relate to these. In the decisions we make, we also consider social, economic and environmental factors as they either have a direct impact on health status or can contribute to existing ill health.

More information about how we set our priorities can be found in our commissioning intentions. It is worth reading our commissioning intentions in conjunction with our Five Year Forward View and strategic plan.
